Wellness is important for productivity in the workplace. Yoga helps with common seated job related problems such as back pain and tension in the neck and shoulders, leading to improved health and reduced absenteeism for sickness.

These programmes provide tools for the employees to develop their wellness habits that can be incorporated in the everyday life. Take a look at the sample workplace wellness programmes below.
Desk Yoga Break - this class is designed to provide you with yoga benefits without even leaving your desk.
It starts with mindfulness/breathing exercise, followed by a sequence of therapeutic exercises, and ends with a short meditation.
The movement exercise is designed to help relieve tension in the neck, spine, shoulders, lower back and hips - the parts of the body that tend to experience strain due to prolonged time of sitting.
This programme does not require any specific equipment or even a change of clothes.
Mindfulness Meditation - through various mindfulness techniques, this 30min practice encourages you to be present, aware and content in the moment. It helps to let go of tension by acknowledging, accepting and letting go of what does not serve you and invites you to celebrate what does.
Slow down the racing thoughts and calm your body, and your mind, subsequently reducing stress, lowering heart rate, improving immunity and sleep quality.
This programme can be practised seated or lying down in any comfortable position.
Dynamic Yoga Flow for a Healthy Body and Mind - it's a well-rounded mat yoga practice designed to support both mind and body, and help you form new wellbeing habits.
Each session starts with slow grounding, connecting with the breath so you can take your mind away from the daily stressors and focus on the present moment. It is then followed by slow and gentle movements to help warm up the body before going into a dynamic yoga flow. Each class intends to progress you on your personal yoga journey, from working on your mobility, strength and mindfulness. Expect to explore a wide range of yoga poses, from gentle and relaxing to strong and challenging. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and capabilities and will be modified as required.
